From news headlines to your grocery store cashier, everyone is talking about Coronavirus. At Massage Therapy of Boston, we’d like to offer you peace of mind by sharing that we are taking extra precautions to keep our clients safe by using hospital grade sanitizer to wipe down all surfaces including massage tables and door knobs in the office and bathroom.

While we can assure the high standard of cleanliness in our space, don’t forget to practice proper hand washing techniques and avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth in public places. A fun tip we learned in massage school is the time it takes singing “happy birthday” 2x will kill 99% of germs, bacteria and omit the spread of viruses.

We ask that if you have traveled outside of the US in the past 6 months to please let us know before booking an appointment. Also, If you haven’t been feeling well please cancel your appointment to avoid getting anyone else sick. We will not charge and client who cancels within the 24 hour cancellation window for being sick.

More information and prevention tips can be found at www.cdc.gov/coronavirus.

Massage therapy helps to boost the immune system by reducing cortisol levels and increasing activity levels of the body’s white blood cells, which works to fight off viruses. Care for your body by booking an appointment with us here!

Warmly,
Massage Therapy of Boston
