We are thrilled to be welcoming Lillian Fuchs, LMT to the Massage Therapy of Boston team! Lillian has been a massage therapist for over 10 years, helping countless numbers of people reduce stress and chronic pain, recover from injury, and find healing and vitality. A graduate of the prestigious Center for Massage Therapy in Connecticut, Lillian received specialized training in Orthopedic Massage, Myofascial Release, and Sports Massage. Lillian greatly values her massage training, which was a client-based model, centered around listening to her clients and asking questions, assessing the whole body and mind, while also applying an in-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
From 2006-2015, Lillian worked as part of the wellness staff at the ESPN world headquarters in Bristol, CT, both as a massage therapist and mindfulness coach, working with some of the top athletes in the world, as well as with the numerous office workers dealing with computer-related repetitive stress issues.
Through the last 10 years of massage practice, Lillian has seen how each and every body when given regular massage and bodywork can transform itself by improving stamina, rehabilitating through injury, reducing stress in long-lasting ways, and bringing about freedom and joy of movement. While she has taken courses to deepen her massage knowledge from some of the top massage professionals in the industry including Tom Myers, Erik Dalton, and Bonnie Prudden, Lillian believes she learns the most from each and every body that rests on her table, from infants to 90-plus year olds.
Lillian also holds a Masters in Spirituality and Creativity from Yale University Divinity School and has trained as a Health and Wellness Coach. A long time practitioner of meditation and mindfulness, she works with an awareness of the breath as a powerful way to reduce stress and cultivate a healthy and joyful lifestyle.
